Who is not familiar with the G series engines from Suzuki, Suzuki Esteem used since the era (known as Amenity Suzuki / Cultus / Eleny) with a series G13A, Suzuki Jimny Caribbean (SJ413) and Suzuki Every with a series G13B, Suzuki Carry Futura 1.3 - 1.5 - 1.6 (using the G13A, G15A and G16A according to engine capacity), and Suzuki Baleno Suzuki Vitara EPI 4 × 4 / Escudo (Nomade) / Sidekick using G16A / B and Suzuki APV own using the engine for the Indonesian market G15A and G16A engine for export markets (version of the minivan and pick-ups).

G series engines from Suzuki itself is also used for M production car General Motors platform, such as the Holden Barina, Chevrolet Sprint and Geo Tracker.

For your information, the G series engine itself is only one type of 12 types of production machines scattered Suzuki world, while in Indonesia itself is only 5 types of machines including G series used by APV including:

- Series F using the type F10A = Suzuki Carry 1.0, Suzuki Forsa, Suzuki Jimny Super, & Suzuki Karimun Suzuki Katana
- Series H using the type H25A = Suzuki Escudo XL-7
- using a type J Series J20 on the Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.0 and J24 types in the Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.4
- K series uses the type K10B Suzuki Karimun Estilo and type of K12M on Suzuki Splash
- the M series uses type M15A = Suzuki Baleno (Millennium Baleno, Baleno Next-G), Suzuki Swift, Suzuki SX4 (Crossover / Crossroad) & Suzuki SX4 sedan (Neo-Baleno)
